About Me

Hi guys! My name is Nidhi Padmanabhan and I am a 16 year old and a Junior from Edison, NJ.
I come from a South Asian ethnic background and I speak 5 languages: English, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and French. Music is a big part of my life, as I am an active member of my school choir, have been learning Carnatic (Indian Classical) music for several years now, and enjoy listening to music as well. My favorite types of music are RnB, Indie, and Kpop. I enjoy writing poetry, drawing, and binge watching shows in my free time. Over the course of the past 2 years or so, I have taken a strong interest in programming and have learnt Python levels 1, 2, and 3. I am currently learning Java and C++. I hope the The Girls Who Code Program gives me a chance to expand my programming skills and interact with more people in the computer science community!
